Top Tier: Brillat Savarin - 500g

Milk: cow | Type: soft, bloomy rind | Origin: UK

This triple cream white mould was created in the 1930’s by Henri Androuët and named after the renowned 18th Century food writer, Brillat-Savarin who claimed ‘A meal without some cheese is like a beautiful woman with only one eye’. The cheese is mild in flavour when young but as it matures it will develop rich, complex flavours that meld beautifully together. The white velvety mould encases a soft and creamy interior. During maturation the rind may develop small patches of orange mould

Middle Tier: Goat's Onetik Chabrin - 3.5kg

Milk: goat | Type: semi-hard | Origin: France

Mild goat’s milk cheese with sweet and nutty overtones. Onetik Dairy specialises in sheep and goat’s milk cheeses in the heart of Basque Country using milk from around 250 farms, scattered across the Pyrenees.Chabrin is a naturally rinded pressed cheese, aged in their cellars for just three months resulting in a dense but smooth, creamy texture that coats the palette and lingering mineral aroma.

Bottom Tier: Vully Rouge - 6kg

Milk: cow | Type: semi - hard | Origin: Switzerland 

Vully Rouge is made at a small dairy which is located by the lake of Murten in the canton of Fribourg. Schäfer Fromagerie first made this cheese in 1994. At the end of production, the cheese is soaked in brine for 24 hours before being regularly washed with brine and Pinot Noir which is grown on the slopes of Mont Vully. This continues several times a week while being matured in the cellar for about 10 weeks. The rind is a lovely dark orange encasing an ivory to yellow coloured interior. It has a delicate texture and slightly piquant flavour.

  • Something Else You Should Know

    We're aim to fulfill all deliveries by 7pm on the nominated date of delivery but we can't promise a specific time slot during the day. If you are sending to an apartment or unit, please ensure someone is home to receive the cheese. We will always make attempts to contact recipients when no one is home.

    All products we offer especially cheese is seasonal and occasionally we will need to substitute with similar item. We will always make sure we are replacing with something that's equal value or higher.
